Our Company

Chemtrax Limited is a privately owned Company that began operations in April 1994 as a manufacturer of Household Detergents and Industrial Chemicals.

In 1999 with the acquisition and reorganization of Diversified Limited as an associated company specializing in the manufacture of Plastic Bottles, Caps etc., Chemtrax Limited absorbed their chemical line and expanded into the Candle Making business.

Over the years a dynamic marketing team has introduced exciting new products and packaging that has adapted to international competition and opened new business for the Company.

Our Business

    Our Business focuses on two core areas:

  • Manufacturing candles

Household Cleaning Detergents
Chemtrax provides families with quality cleaning products at a great value.

    The Chemtrax family of products includes such brands as:
  • Dish Up and Gleam dishwashing liquid
  • Blue Wash liquid laundry detergent
  • Softee fabric softener
  • Nuvo disinfectants
Candles
We are the largest manufacturers of candles among Caricom’s 15 Member States, producing a wide range that includes household, religious and scented (insect repellant) candles. Candles feature in the traditions of many cultures. As a member of the Latin American Candles Manufacturers Association (ALAFAVE), we adhere to the associations’ objectives of producing high quality, long lasting and safe candles.

Our range of candles is manufactured under the Chemtrax brand using the following trade names Clearlite and Krystal.
Our household column candles are sold in three lengths (6 inch, 8 inch and 10 inch) and five different colours: white, black, green, red and yellow. We also do votives (religious) and Pillar (decorative) candles.

Contract Manufacturing Services – Private Labels
An important element of our company’s growth and profitability lies in the development of relationships with new customers across the region. We form meaningful alliances by being part of their strategic business plans and manufacturing tailor – made products to meet their needs. We have contract manufacturing agreements with customers in Trinidad and Tobago and other Caricom member countries.
    Some of our larger private label clients include:
  • P.S. Operations Ltd. (Price Smart membership shopping)
    Since 2002 we have been supplying their Aruba, Barbados and Trinidad chains with original formulations of liquid laundry detergent, fabric softener, dishwashing liquid and all-purpose cleaner.
  • Neutra Rust International 2000 Limited U.K.
    Since 2001, we have been the appointed manufacturer under license for the Neutra Rust range of rust converters and protective coatings.
  • Presently we are currently working on new projects involving Contract Manufacturing of Regional and International brands.
Export Markets
Apart from Trinidad and Tobago, Chemtrax has over 40 distributors selling our products in over 15 countries throughout the Caribbean.
